Originally from New Zealand, I’ve recently relocated to the stunning landscapes of British Columbia. When I’m not coding, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, skiing, mountain biking, or just soaking in the fresh air.
My journey into software development began with a degree in Chemistry. While I loved my time as a Chemist, I often noticed inefficiencies in the systems we used—whether it was office tools or specialized lab software. This sparked my interest in technology solutions that improved efficiency, accuracy, and user experience. Soon, I became the go-to person for setting up systems and providing tech support, which led to my passion for technology.
After the pandemic, I decided to pursue a master’s in Software Development. Following that, I worked at FNZ, a global financial software company, where I spent two years developing high-quality products under tight deadlines.

- Wealth Management Platforms: Developed complex wealth management platforms for major clients like CFS (CFS Edge) and Vanguard, focusing on both legacy and core systems.

React Native
- Internal App Development: Developed an app to run a TV Game Show experience for Brighton’s TV Gameshow, this handles displaying questions, leaderboards, videos and audio. The host can control this through the iPad version of the app, to keep track of scores and game progress.
- Locally Hosted Server: This manages communication between the hosts iPad and the display screens.
- SQLite Database: Stores the rounds, questions, answers and access is managed through the server.
- Admin Portal: Allows questions, answers and custom rounds to be added and edited.
- Videos: Integrated videos that can be played by the host at key times.
- Audio: Integrated audio for timers and other special events throughout the game.
- Cross-Platform Design: Designed and tested across iOS, Android, and web platforms for cross-device functionality.
WordPress
- WordPress Site Development: Developed WordPress sites for various businesses.
- Custom Design Implementation: Designed and implemented custom themes and layouts to meet client specifications.
